About Congleton Choral Society Choir

2023 Concert in Congleton Town Hall

The Choral Society

Founded in 1971, Congleton Choral Society is a mixed choir of about 90 voices. We present four concerts a year in Spring, Summer, Autumn and at Christmas, normally in Congleton Town Hall. Occasionally, we sing at special events in Congleton, such as the Mayor-making ceremony, or colaborate with other groups to perform pieces which would not be possible on our own.

The Choral Society enjoys the challenge of learning and performing a varied repertoire under our Music Director's inspiring direction. We are fortunate to engage professional orchestras, distinguished accompanists and excellent guest soloists to perform with us.
