Congleton Community Choir’s Music Project brought together pupils, community singers, and young instrumentalists for a multi-generational music project.

Initially, the project was called the Children's Singing Project as it focused on Year 5 pupils from three Congleton Schools, Marlfields, Marton and St. Mary’s who explored the wonders of the Earth and nature through music. They each had Workshops in their school learning pieces centred around nature. These culminated in a performance in the Town Hall which involved Congleton Community Choir together with Congleton Youth Orchestra side-by-side with local young professional players. Hence the project is more accurately called the Community Music Project.
