The activities of Congleton Choral Society and Congleton Community Choir are wide ranging in the community:

• The Choral Society brings varied programmes of choral music at reasonable prices to Congleton and the surrounding area, adding to the well-being of the community, Ticket sales do not cover the cost of our concerts as we work with professional orchestras, accompanists and soloists, performing music to a very high standard.


• Congleton Community Choir gives free concerts of feel-good music, including songs from the shows, popular music and folk songs.


• We foster links with local schools and young orchestral players to further our aim of developing music in the community. See our Community Music Project.


• We provide opportunities for student conductors, giving them experience of conducting under the direction of our Music Director who works at Manchester and Warwick Universtities.

We are a registered charity and welcome donations to support our concerts and our Community Music Project. If you would like to allocate your donation to a specific area, you can still donate here and then contact our Treasurer, Pam Upchurch: .

There are 2 ways to donate securely:

1. You can donate to our PayPal Giving Fund using your PayPal account and we receive 100% of your donation. If you don't have a PayPal account, you will be asked to register, You can ask PayPal to Gift Aid your donation.


2. Alternatively, you can donate using a credit/debit card either to our PayPal account (no PayPal account is needed) or to us via our Stripe payment system. If you want to Gift Aid your donation, you can do this afterwards by contacting our Treasurer, Pam Upchurch: .
