SUMMARY:Choral Society Summer Concert
DESCRIPTION:Tickets available on the door for our Summer Concert which will
  be accompanied by the excellent National Festival Orchestra with Rachel F
 right on continuo.\n\nThe concert will take you on a journey of darkness t
 o light\, beginning with Haydn's Nelson Mass or 'Mass in Troubled Times'.
  On the way\, the journey explores the sinister and calm aspects of darkne
 ss with six poems set to music by Benjamin Britten in his great masterpiec
 e\, Serenade for Tenor\, Horn and Strings.\n\nOur concert ends with the wo
 nderfully uplifting Sunrise Mass by Ola Gjeilo. You may not have heard Sun
 rise Mass before\, but after hearing it\, it will surely become one of you
 r favourite works.\n\nWe have a great line up of soloists:\nSoprano: Rache
